Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is Dodo Entertainment Ltd., a company incorporated in Malta and registered with the Malta Business Registry under number C 115660.

We only process the data needed to provide the service:

• »Account data: email address, username and password (always stored hashed; never in plain text).
• »Profile data you choose to publish: avatar, banner, bio, aliases and links.
• »Discord link, if you enable it: your Discord account's identifier and name.
• »Your activity on the site: tracked games, reviews, comments, achievements and guilds.
• »Minimal technical logs needed for the security and proper operation of the service.

We use your data exclusively to provide the service: managing your account and session, displaying your profile and activity, sending transactional emails (email verification and password recovery) and protecting the site against abuse.

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not build commercial profiles.

We only process your data when the law allows it. The legal basis for each use is:

• »Performance of a contract: managing your account and session, displaying your profile and activity, linking Discord if you enable it, letting you download or delete your data, and sending you the emails the service needs (email verification, password recovery and notice that your reports have been resolved). Without this processing we could not provide the service you accept when you sign up.
• »Legitimate interest: protecting the site against abuse, keeping technical security logs, moderating content that breaks the community guidelines, and measuring site usage with our cookie-less analytics. Our interest is keeping the service safe and improving it, and we do so in the way that least affects your privacy. You can object to this processing by writing to us.
• »Consent: if you leave your email address in the bugs and suggestions form, we only use it to reply to you. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to dodorexyyt@gmail.com.
• »Legal obligation: keeping the data the law requires us to keep, for example to respond to requests from the authorities.

We measure site usage with our own analytics system that uses no cookies or third-party services and works with aggregated data. It cannot identify you or follow you across other websites.

We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for commercial purposes. It is only processed by the infrastructure providers strictly required to operate the service (hosting and email delivery), acting under our instructions.

If you link your Discord account, the data exchange with Discord is additionally governed by Discord's privacy policy.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted; only the minimal records required by law may be retained. Reports you sent are kept unlinked from your account, and guilds you created pass to their longest-standing active member.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time by writing to us at dodorexyyt@gmail.com.

You can exercise most of these rights yourself: from your profile you can edit your data, download a copy in JSON format and delete your account.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with Malta's data protection authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), or with the data protection authority of the country where you live.

We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data: hashed passwords, sessions managed with httpOnly cookies and encrypted communication over HTTPS.

The service is not aimed at children under 16. If we detect an account belonging to someone under that age, we will delete it.

If we substantially change this policy, we will announce it on the site. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the document.
