Terms of use

GamerLog is a service of Dodo Entertainment Ltd., a company incorporated in Malta and registered with the Malta Business Registry under number C 115660. When these terms say "we" or "us", they mean Dodo Entertainment Ltd.

GamerLog is a personal video game journal: it lets you track the games you have played, write reviews, keep your aliases and achievements, and join guilds with other players.

The service is offered as is, as an evolving project: features may change, grow or be removed over time.

To use the social features you need an account, which you can create with your email address and a password or by linking your Discord account. You must be at least 16 years old to sign up.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for all activity that happens through your account. If you detect unauthorized access, change your password and let us know as soon as possible.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

The content you publish (reviews, comments, bio, avatars, banners, aliases, guilds and their descriptions) remains yours. By publishing it you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display it within the site, which is the minimum required for the service to work.

You are responsible for what you publish: do not upload content you do not hold the rights to or content that breaks the law.

We want a healthy community. By using GamerLog you agree not to:

• »Publish illegal, defamatory, hateful or sexually explicit content.
• »Harass, threaten or impersonate other people.
• »Spam, post unsolicited advertising, or manipulate reviews and ratings.
• »Attempt to access other people's accounts or compromise the security of the service.
• »Scrape or extract data from the site in bulk or through automation without permission.

We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, temporarily or permanently depending on severity. Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason.

Game metadata (titles, covers, descriptions, dates) comes from IGDB and from its respective owners. Video game trademarks, names and material belong to their holders; GamerLog is not affiliated with any publisher or developer.

The site's own design, code and texts belong to GamerLog.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", with no guarantee of uninterrupted operation or permanent data retention. We recommend not using the site as the only copy of information you care about.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or in the law. If a change is substantial, we will announce it on the site reasonably in advance. Continuing to use the service after the changes take effect means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, where Dodo Entertainment Ltd. is incorporated.

If you are a consumer living in the European Union, this does not take away the protection given to you by the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by contract. You can bring any claim before the courts of Malta or of your country of residence.
